Alan Darby Award

CORINNE
FARRELL AWARDS

In 1989 this award was established as a result of an endowment by Dr Corinne Farrell. Dr Farrell was a Radiologist with a particular interest in Bone Tumours and was founding member of the society. The endowment was for a prize for the best Bone Tumour paper presented at the annual meeting of the society. The selection panel was to include the program chairman and two active female members of the ISS.

In 1992 the scope of the award was subsequently extended with an additional award being made for the best paper on a Tumour or Tumour related topic published in Skeletal Radiology in the preceding year.
