Optional tours
A variety of interesting and exciting tours have been arranged to coincide with the educational meetings. Special tour rates have been negotiated for the ISS group. These tours need to be booked in advance, in order for final arrangements to be made.

1) Same Day Agra Tour - Oct. 26 or Nov. 2 - This same day excursion will whisk you away to Agra situated on the banks of the Yamuna River. It will include a visit to the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, some time for shopping and dinner on the train back to Delhi.
2) Overnight Agra Tour - Oct. 25-26 or Nov. 2-3 - This overnight tour will take you to Agra for a tour of palaces including the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.
3) Rajasthan Tour (6 day) - Oct. 19-24 or Nov. 2-7 - This trip will delight you as you see all the region has to offer. Visit the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Tour Ranthambhore National Park and see the tiger sanctuary. Drive to Jaipur and visit the Pink City, the only city in the world symbolizing the nine divisions of the Universe through nine rectangular sectors sub-dividing it. Fly to Udaipur, (City of Sunrise), also known as "the Venice of the East." ***PLEASE NOTE: TOUR MUST BE BOOKED BY MAY 15, 2008
4) Khajurhao / Varanasi Tour - Oct. 14-18 or Nov. 8-12 - The Khajuraho group of monuments has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. One of the most popular tourist destinations in India, Khajuraho has the largest group of medieval Hindu and Jain temples, famous for their erotic sculpture. Then visit the oldest continually inhabited city in the world - Varanasi. Tour the River Ganges by boat, where you will witness daily rituals performed by locals. ***PLEASE NOTE: TOUR MUST BE BOOKED BY MAY 15, 2008
5) All Day Delhi Tour - Oct. 26 or Oct. 29 - Tour starts in Old Delhi and takes you to many historic landmarks. Lunch will be at a restaurant in the Taj Mahal Hotel. After lunch, the tour continues to the sights of New Delhi including the President's house and Parliament House.
6) Half-day tours/Spouses Events - We have scheduled half day events, both morning and afternoon that include: Oct. 25/Oct. 30 - Shopping/Rickshaw Ride; Oct. 26/ Oct. 31 - Akshardham Temple; Oct. 27/Oct. 29 Shopping/ Sari Tying; Oct. 26/ Oct.30 - Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, Lakshmi Narain and Lotus Temples
